 The Calleo Connector for Accpac has been designed as an Abbyy FlexiCapture add on software product, serving as a bridge between FlexiCapture and Accpac's Accounts Payable database. The Calleo Connector for Accpac will accept Abbyy's Flexicapture OCR'ed data stream as input, validate the data with specific business rules, and format the data into an Accpac specific Accounts Payable format, making the data ready to import and post into the Accounts Payable module in Accpac.
 Starting with Abbyy's FlexiCapture, it will OCR or ICR the supplier Accounts Payable invoice (paper, PDF, faxed, or scanned image).
Flexicapture will perform the 1st series of validations, ensuring excellent recognition of necessary information from the invoices source documents. FlexCapture will clean the invoice data as much as possible, either through automation scripts or manual operator validation. FlexiCaptre will ultimately pass its processed invoice stream to the Calleo Connector for Accpac, where in turn it will process the invoice data stream according to stringent rules. The rules are to ensure that only valid data Accounts Payable Invoice data gets passed to the Accpac Accounts Payable database. The Calleo Connector for Accpac will perform this second series of validations & will attempt to automatically resolve data conflicts, such as fiscal periods, amounts fields are in balance correctly, general ledger account codes are assigned correctly, the vendor number has been correctly assigned. At any point in the Calleo Connector for Accpac process the user has the ability to modify the invoice within an intuitive user interface. The user interface also includes a link to the original Accounts Payable invoice document just in case the user needs to reference information from the invoice. Any invoice field that is automatically determined by the Calleo Connector for Accpac to have data that would be inappropriate for Accpac is visibly flagged. The visible flag alerts the operator to modify the data & ensure the data is clean before updating the Accpac database. The Calleo Connector for Accpac ensures absolute data integrity and will never allow unclean or data with errors to be passed onto the Accpac Database. The Calleo Connector for Accpac understands the format, structure and validation required by Accpac.
Data that is flagged as inappropriate for Accpac will never be exported. The Calleo Connector for Accpac will read each piece of invoice information that has been processed by FlexiCapture, and an attempt to automatically cleanse the data according to standard embedded business rules. Though a streamlined and easy to use user interface, the operator can further verify and modify any of the invoice information, ensuring complete accuracy just prior to producing an Accpac Accounts Payable ready import file. If you are used to Abbyy's FlexiCapture, then the learning curve of the Calleo Connector for Accpac will be minimal. The Calleo Connector for Accpac user interface is similar to that of FlexiCapture. Easily extract and match supplier invoices that have been passed from FlexiCapture into the Calleo Connector for Accpac. The Calleo Connector uses the Business Number (VAT, ABN) as a unique lookup into the Accpac supplier database & gives the operator the ability to view the original invoice document with a single click. All subsequent supplier invoice details, such as Business Number, General Ledger code associated with supplier, etc. will be understood by the Calleo Connector for Accpac. This self learning process will make invoice processing faster, with no need to re-lookup supplier details. Calculation errors are validated ensuring accurate amounts are passed to the Accpac database for posting. Any amounts that are "out-of-balance" will be brought to the attention of the operator by a clearly visible yellow flag on the amount(s) in question. The current fiscal period of the Accpac Business system is recognized automatically, and the operator has the ability to modify the fiscal period for any invoice transaction. Importing processed invoices into Accpac is simple and straight forward. The Calleo Connector for Accpac will format supplier invoices exactly the way that the Accpac payables database expects the data. If you do not have an Accpac Accounts Payable Business system we can easily swap in the components that allow connectivity to other business systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, etc.).
